A comfortable, simple and free filesearch program for finding files and information on your hard drive fast and efficiently. More advanced than 'find' option. Other name of this software is File Locator Lite. Agent Ransack is a tool which offers a set of functions to find information in many file formats. Some features of this filesearch software:

• It runs very fast.
• Shell integration.
• It supports expressions terms, for example AND, OR, NOT.
• Supports regular expressions compatible with Perl.
• Agent Ransack works search content of PDF files and office formats, among others OpenOffice and MS Office 2007.
• Both 32 and 64 bit versions.
• File content preview.
• Search via dates or file size.
• Match case option.
• History of searches (default 20 terms).
• Option for replace default Explorer Search (default disable).

Agent has MDI mode and a few of simultaneous searches are possible. For open new searchwindow press CTRL+N, change searchwindows via "Windows" menu.

It runs on Microsoft Windows 2000, XP SP2, 2003, Vista, 2008 and Windows 7.
