A CD Ripper, extracting digital audio data from an Audio CD. The application supports many Audio encoders, like MPEG (MP2, MP3), OGG Vorbis, VQF, AAC encoders. This software uses encoders: Lame MP3, Internal MP2, APE (Monkey's Audio - lossles music format), Ogg Vorbis, The Windows MP3 (Fraunhofer MP3 encoder), NTT VQF, FAAC and Windows WMA8. CDex supports many audio file tag types (not only ID3V1 and ID3V2 tags).

• Direct recording of multiple tracks.
• Read and store album information from or to the cdplayer.ini file, local, or remote CD Database (CDDB).
• Program supports CD-Text function (of course if your CD drive supports this feature).
• Advanced jitter correction. It based on the cd-paranoia ripping library.
