A 3D CAD / CAM software which runs on two operation systems: Microsoft Windows and Linux. This free alternative for AutoCAD has integrated 3D OpenGL viewer and has program interpreter for geometry and NC commands in 3D.. gCAD3D has a build-in NC processor. It supports addons (plugins). This software may import Step files and import and export Iges, DXF, VRML-1 and VRML-2 formats. To work it requires GTK+ 2.0.x library or newer.

Also gCAD3D has functions for making documentations:

• Display of 2D-draftings, 3D-models and graphics in one 3D-model space.
• Drafts and models can be generated and modified dynamically.
• All graphic objects can be connected with interactions.

Interactions can:

• call models (via URL/HREF command in HTML);
• call programs (via start addons);
• change model parameter (them dimensions etc.)

You can use it without restriction for private and commercial purposes.
