A turn-based strategy game with a fantasy theme. Fight a desperate battle to reclaim the throne of Wesnoth, or take hand in any number of other adventures. More than 200 unit types, 16 fantasy races, 6 major factions. Hundreds of years of history. The fantasy world of Wesnoth is absolutely huge and limited only by your creativity - make your own custom units, compose your own maps, and write your own scenarios or even full blown campaigns.
Battle for Wesnoth is a free TBS (turn game). You can play against computer or also challenge up to eight other players and fight in epic multiplayer fantasy battles and wars.
