An an online multiplayer game with special three-dimension graphic effects. Carom literally means a collision followed by a rebound in a billiard game. Commonly, Pool is referred to a billiard game with pockets, while Carom is a game without pockets and just using cushions. This billiards, unlike Pool, is a game that you use the cushions to gain points rather than the pockets. It requires 3D card is essential.

A simulation of various billiard games, unfortunately with poor graphics. The available games are: 5 Pins, Goriziana, Bowls, Carom and 3 Balls. The game provides a documentation with rules. The physic engine is realistic, you can perform any kind of shot (even parabolic ones). The game has many other features: training mode, replay and undo of last shot, detailed game statistics reports, sound effects and music.

It is an OpenGL pool billiard simulation, which was developed within the scope of our course "Computergraphics" at the University of Freiburg (Germany). BillardGL is Open Source and it has very low hardware requirements.
